Cytat:This program allows your family to access our daily catechism program based on the liturgical calendar. This program is great for individuals or the whole family as we offer lessons from children k-12 as well as adults. Since the lessons follow the liturgical calendar this provides an additional supplement for Sunday Mass and a great opportunity for the family to learn together. There are five levels each which consist of the three year lectionary cycle.

The Postulant (K-2nd) - The child will embark on a journey into the fundamentals of the Catholic Faith: the Sacraments, the Bible, the Catechism, prayer and the Saints. Children are taught to develop a Catholic appreciation of the integral and important role of the Trinity, Mary, and all the Saints through the memorization and frequent recitation of authentic Catholic prayers.

The Novice (3rd-5th) - Students are immersed in the Lectionism approach by using on-line Church approved commentaries on the Sunday Mass readings (as well daily Mass readings) and they are guided through an examination of relevant passages of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. To reinforce and make practical applications, the Novice uses teacher tested activities and hands on projects all specially designed to nurture their youthful religious experiences.

The Professed (6th-8th) - As your child experiences a greater awareness of the Church and the importance of the Liturgical Year, the Lectionism approach retains broader and deeper significance. Everything used in the Novice program is upgraded and intensified so that the Truths of the Faith are taught at a level directed to a student poised on the edge of adult Catholicism, eagerly anticipating the doctrine, catechesis, and prayer needed for more mature spiritual growth.

The Apostle (9th-12th) - The student, preparing to live, know, and defend the Faith in an increasingly secular world is immersed in the Lectionism pedagogical approach, keenly in tune and aware of the relationship between the Mass readings, the Liturgical year, and Magisterial teachings. Students are taught the arts and sciences of Catholic Apologetics, learning to defend and live core Catholic beliefs, Catholic moral principles, and Catholic virtues.

The Disciple (Adult) - Lessons are derived from the themes contained in the Readings proclaimed during the previous Sunday’s Mass. The Readings are viewed through the prisms of: the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the Baltimore Catechism. Each day a different theological dynamic scrutinizes those same lectionary themes. Monday lessons focus on Scripture studies, Tuesday concentrates on prayer; Wednesday is devoted to Catholic anthropology; Thursday features Apologetics, and Friday looks at the entire gamut of moral and ethical issues. Each daily lesson is configured in such a way as to maintain consistency and routine while simultaneously integrating creativity and spontaneity. Over the course of 3 years adults are exposed to 95% of the Bible and the entirety of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
